Grade and Thickness by Device
Handheld covers need a different balance of weight, profile and strength than a stationary smart-home panel. We review the glass family and thickness with the product layout before selecting strengthening.
Cover glass for smart home controls, electronic displays and handheld devices.
Thin glass, finished edges, printed graphics and coatings to your design.
Send the device outline, display cutout, glass thickness and finish.

A cover is felt at its edge as well as seen on screen. Chamfers and 2.5D contours are matched to the device housing, adhesive land and required appearance.
Dark masks and selective translucent printing allow controls to disappear into the panel when switched off. We check LED position and print density on working samples to avoid halos.
Oleophobic and AF treatments make touched panels easier to clean. Etched AG and AR solve different reflection problems, so the selection follows the actual display and expected lighting.
Front-facing cameras and proximity sensors often sit behind a decorative mask. Their optical windows need accurate alignment, clear apertures and suitable coating choices before the printed design is approved.
Color, gloss, border position and edge quality cannot be signed off from a CAD model alone. We recommend approving representative glass in the assembled product before release.
A smart-control front can combine chemically strengthened glass, rear-surface black masking, selective translucent icons and a fingerprint-resistant coating. Samples are reviewed with LEDs both off and on, and fitted in the intended enclosure.
Provide the glass outline, device section, display zone and printing specification. We review material, edge details, coatings and the required cosmetic viewing conditions.
Samples are fitted to the housing to evaluate touch operation, illuminated icons, print color, surface feel and camera windows before the appearance sample is approved.
The signed-off geometry and sample guide cutting, polishing, strengthening, printing and coating. Finished covers are checked for alignment, appearance and dimensions.
Shape the cover and required openings.
Polish contours that meet the housing.
Apply the material-specific strengthening step.
Finish masks, icons and touch surfaces.
Check agreed cosmetics and protective packing.
Include glass grade, thickness, edge profile, coating, printing and quantity.
